Columbia JPF Prize Applications Open for 2026

Applications are open between December 1, 2025 and March 1, 2026 for the Jean-Paul Fitoussi Scholars Program at Columbia University.

Interested applicants should submit a current CV and a letter of nomination from a faculty member appointed to Columbia's departments of Economics, Political Science, or Philosophy. These materials should be sent to socialsciencedean@columbia.edu with the subject "Application: Jean-Paul Fitoussi Scholars Program." 

The fellowships will provide partial support in periods ranging from three to twelve months. The support can be applied towards salary and some travel and research expenses. Prioritization will be given to candidates whose work emphasizes important, difficult, or often neglected questions or a clear research agenda (rather than technique or methodology).
